About This Camp
Take a trip to outer space with Brooklyn Click and Connect!
Campers will blast off on an intergalactic adventure where imagination, building, and curiosity lead the way. Throughout the week, campers will design and build moonscapes, spaceships, space stations, aliens, and distant planets, working both independently and collaboratively on creative challenges.
The week will include one exciting field trip to the American Museum of Natural History, where campers will experience a space show at the Hayden Planetarium and explore exhibits that bring astronomy, planets, and the universe to life. This visit will inspire campers’ builds and spark big questions about space, science, and exploration.
Back at camp, each day will balance hands-on building time, guided activities, and open-ended creative play. Campers will experiment with engineering ideas, problem-solving, and storytelling as they imagine life beyond Earth. Daily challenges might include designing a spaceship that can travel long distances, creating a habitat for an alien species, or building a moon base that can support astronauts.
Campers will also enjoy daily outdoor time in our backyard nature playground, giving them time to move, play, and recharge.
By the end of the week, campers will have built an entire imagined universe—and made new friends along the way. This camp is perfect for curious kids who love building, storytelling, science, and thinking beyond our planet.
