Guided by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, Brooklyn Heights Montessori School is a diverse and inclusive community serving students from preschool through grade 8. The school focuses on educational excellence by placing respect for each individual child’s unique development and potential at the center of its mission. Its carefully designed environments are structured to encourage natural curiosity, inspire a lifelong love for independent learning, and foster critical thinking through a challenging curriculum. By emphasizing personal responsibility, leadership, and respect for self and others, the school prepares children to become thoughtful, confident, and engaged citizens of both their local community and the world.
