About This Camp
Grades Adventurers combines immersive specialty programming with weekly field trips for added excitement. Each week features a unique specialty theme, allowing campers to build skills, explore new interests, and leave empowered by what they’ve created and discovered. Natural crafts, movement games, and outdoor play are woven throughout each week.
In this hands-on camp, students will explore textile-making traditions from around the world, learning both traditional and contemporary techniques. Throughout the week, campers will experiment with shibori tiedye, natural dyeing, batik, relief printing, cyanotype, and eco-printing, while discovering the cultural history and context behind each method. The week is enriched by a special midweek field trip that deepens students’ connection to textile arts and creative inspiration.
