About This Camp
Defy gravity in Child's Play NY's Oz themed camp! Young performers will bring the land of Oz to life in improvisations, games and songs inspired by Wicked, The Wizard of Oz and The Wiz. Through theater games and improv, campers will explore the friendship between Elphaba and Glinda, create their own characters at Shiz University, improvise as Dorothy and her crew on the Yellow Brick Road. Our devised theater pieces will explore themes of bravery, acceptance and inner magic using these beloved characters. Led by professionally-trained actors, kids flex their imaginative muscles and learn the basics of vocal warm-ups, character development, singing and choreography. Camp culminates in a live showcase for families.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy
If you need to cancel 4 weeks or more before camp starts, a full credit will be added to your account. If you cancel between 2 and 4 weeks before camp starts, a 50% credit will be added to your account. If you cancel less than 2 weeks before camp starts, no credit will be issued. In the event that your child is unwell and unable to attend camp last minute, please let us know and we will do our best to work out a solution together. Credit can be used toward future camps or classes. Credit cannot be used for birthday parties or private coaching.
