About This Camp
Is your young person ready to explore the natural and cultural landscape of the city this summer? Are they eager to travel by bus, train, foot and boat? Do they have longer-term projects they'd like to pursue, such as robot-building, podcasting, 3-D printing, and filmmaking? Then Cottonwood's Explorers and Makers Camp is for you!
Campers join a dynamic community of young people as they explore the city together and collaborate on hands-on projects at our learning center. Whether their goals include a hike in Central Park or designing a 3D-printed car, our facilitators support campers in identifying, developing, and pursuing their passion projects.
This camp requires independence and stamina, as the group takes two full-day field trips each week. Last summer's favorite adventures included a day at Coney Island and a series of dance shows at the New Victory Theater.
Camp runs from 9am-3pm each day.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy
Cancel before May 15th and receive a refund, less a 15% cancellation fee. (This fee is based on the total amount of the class/camp at the time of registraion.) No refunds or credit will be given after May 15th.
