Early Bird and Late Bird options are also available. Counselors in Training can attend these without extra cost. Children get an afternoon snack and have the option to play outdoors or in air conditioned rooms where we offer games, toys, art, fantasy play, Foosball and more.

About This Camp
Kim’s Kids, located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, offers children the opportunity to spend their summers physically active, exploring nature while taking trips every day throughout New York City and its surrounding regions.
It is a continuous agenda of hiking, swimming, climbing, playing, running all summer long.
Starting at PS 321, William Penn Elementary School. From there you might find us jumping into an icy pool on a hot summer day; hiking along wooded trails, climbing over rocks or fallen trees; racing through sprinklers in one of the many New York City playgrounds; swimming in a secluded lake in New Jersey; riding a camel at the Bronx Zoo; racing down a water slide at Sesame Place; learning to ice skate in the midst of summer heat; walking across the Brooklyn Bridge…
The CIT program at Kim’s Kids is a paid program that offers children ages 12, 13 and 14 the opportunity to experience work while still being a camper. When ‘working’, CITs are expected to play with campers and assist the counselors. When not ‘working’, they are like campers, free to play with whomever they choose. The program imparts a sense of responsibility and importance, while still allowing for these children to be children. We have often witnessed enormous growth and maturity in CITs and the program has become a great source of quality staff members.
CITs have their own counselor and have to report each morning at 8:45. Once a week CITs take an exclusive trip reserved only for the CITs that usually extends beyond 3 PM. Transportation is by a mini coach bus. There is no charge for CITs to attend the Early and Late programs. Regardless of the sessions and weeks chosen, all CITs may attend the Sesame Place trip. At the end of the summer, each CIT receives a small cash award.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy
If you wish to cancel your camp registration, you can contact our office at (718)768-6419 or [email protected]. We cannot refund deposits. If you notify us before May 15, you can apply for a 100% credit on your account, minus deposits. Once a program begins, we cannot make any adjustments or offer any credits.
