About This Camp
Over the course of four sessions, students will explore how different materials communicate stories, identity, and imagination through drawing, painting, fiber, and sculpture. The first week of each session will be spent introducing the materials at hand and exploring new processes and techniques to bring these materials to life. Students will then use what they’ve learned during the second week to express themselves through projects that encourage students to ask, “what story am I trying to tell?” Each session will culminate with a final exhibition where students can celebrate their hard work and personally share the narratives they’ve created with their family and friends.

8:30 – 9:00 am – early drop off (extended day offering) 9 – 10 am: drop off + morning games outdoors 10 – 12 am: art making 12 – 1 pm: outdoor lunch 1 – 3 pm: art making 3 – 4 pm: open studio indoors or outdoor + pickup 4 – 5:00 pm: open studio (extended day offering)
