About This Camp
This hands-on sewing camp maintains a dedicated 4-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio, ensuring your child receives the personalized attention they need to flourish. Throughout the week, campers dive into creative themes, using sewing machines and specialized tools to engineer hip clothes, plushies, and custom accessories from start to finish. Each day includes an hour of fresh air and lunch at the local playground to keep energy high. It is a fantastic, screen-free environment where children of all skill levels build confidence, learn new "engineering" skills, and have a total blast making their ideas come to life!
Sample Schedule
8:50 am to 9:00 am Drop off 9:05 Either start a new project or finish yesterday's 10:15 Break for 15-minute snack and free time. 12:00 - 1/2 day children will leave 12:00-1:00-Break for lunch-We do not provide lunch. If the weather permits after the children eat, we will alternate between free play in the playground and organized games that we rotate daily (their choice). 1:00-2:00-After lunch we will start a new project 2:00 - 10 Minute break-Dance, stretch or just be social and relax. 3:30 Pickup 3:40 – 5 pm late pick up for an additional charge of $20 per hr (additional registration needed)
Cancellation & Transfer Policy
In the event a student must cancel a class registration, MAKE IT Studio must be notified either in-person or in writing for the student to be eligible for a refund or credit of class fees. If notice of cancellation is provided fourteen (14) business or more days prior to the start of the class, the student will be the student can be refunded 50% of their class fees or have a credit for the full amount.. If notice of cancellation is provided seven (7) to five (5) business days prior to the class start date, the student can have a credit for the full amount. If notice of cancellation is provided in less than 4 business days prior to the class start date, no class fees will be refunded to the student without exception.
