About This Camp
Master the Nerf Trailblazer: Engineering Meets Foam-Flinging Fun! Take your Nerf skills to the next level while learning the science behind high-performance blasters. Focused on strength, precision, and safety, this camp dives into the technical side of Nerf engineering using a chronograph to measure FPS and applying core engineering principles to enhance your blaster’s performance.
Learn to prime the impressive one-handed “springer” class Trailblazer and implement smart upgrades—like a stronger custom spring, metal trigger, and metal primer—for improved power, weight, and control. Use the scientific method to compare your modified blaster to the stock version and see firsthand the results of your engineering skills in action.
Put your creations to the test in onsite Nerf games, mastering safety practices and game rules while having a blast. It’s hands-on learning, technical mastery, and foam-flying fun all rolled into one!
Participants take home their modified Blaster and safety goggles! *safety equipment is always used during modding and all Nerf activities *Materials cost are included in ticket price
In this Camp you will develop these Skills: hardware tools, hardware hacking, 3D printer applications, competitive Nerf, Nerf game modes and safety, blaster safety, toy design
