About This Camp
This camp is for beginners and students who have had up to 2 years of formal piano lessons.
Head to the keys this summer with our popular Piano Explorers Camp—a fun, interactive camp focused on playing the piano, developing musicianship skills and making friends. Music games and creative improvisation help unlock the mysteries of the piano and introduce students to basic notation, piano technique and listening skills. Students are placed in small groups by age and experience and those who have previous experience and students perform group piano pieces and arrangements of popular songs. Throughout the day students experience composing, drumming, singing and free play.
Sample Schedule
9:00–9:15 – Drop off and Welcome 9:15–10:15 – Group Piano Class 10:15–11:15 – Music & Movement 11:15–11:45 – Lunch 11:45–1:15 – Outside Play (Games & Activities in the Garden) 1:15–2:00 – Piano Ensembles / Singing 2:00–2:45 – Music & Art / Drumming 2:45–3:00 – Goodbye and Dismissal *Parent Observation Days – Fridays from 2-3 pm
Cancellation & Transfer Policy
There are no refunds or credits for private lessons, camps or summer programs. All registrations for summer programs and camps are final and there are no withdrawals.
