About This Camp
Open to students who play saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, tuba and percussion, BKCM Band Camp is ideal for students who are currently enrolled in a band program or private lessons with at least one year of experience on their instrument. Students perform a wide variety of repertoire that includes standard wind band selections, pop, jazz and music from around the globe. Each day the students participate in a concert band, small wind ensembles and semi-private lessons. Throughout the week they also attend workshops on improvisation, composition and conducting.

9:00 – 10:00 – Concert Band Practice #1 10:00 – 11:00 – Masterclasses / Semi-Private Lessons 11:15 – 12:00 – Ensembles 12:00 – 12:30 PM – Lunch Break 12:30 – 2:00 PM – Conducting, Improvisation, Composition Classes 2:00 – 3:00 – Concert Band Practice #2 *Subject to change. Showcase at 2 PM, Friday in the BKCM Concert Hall.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy
There are no refunds or credits for private lessons, camps or summer programs. All registrations for summer programs and camps are final and there are no withdrawals.
