About This Camp
The New York Aquarium’s summer camps, led by the award-winning Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Education department, offer immersive marine science experiences for adventurers from toddlers to teens. As industry leaders in zoo and aquarium education, the program blends structured play with hands-on discovery to help campers develop a deep understanding of ocean life and conservation. Participants engage in high-quality, educator-led activities and close-up animal encounters, providing a unique underwater adventure that fosters a lasting connection to the planet's diverse aquatic ecosystems.
The Migration Mysteries program invites campers to discover the incredible migratory paths of species traveling across land and sea. Through a combination of live animal encounters, hands-on activities, and creative crafts, participants explore the biological motivations behind migration and the environmental challenges animals must overcome to survive. This curriculum provides an in-depth look at the remarkable endurance and navigation skills required for these global adventures, fostering a deeper understanding of wildlife survival and global ecosystems.
